WMATA required six custom AAR-rated Maintenance of Way ballast cars designed to maximize payload while staying within track load limits. KEE developed a lightweight frame that distributes load over a wider area than standard freight rail ballast cars, delivering a technically advanced and efficient solution at a competitive price
