Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), subcontractor Helix Electric solicited bids for custom, AAR rated maintenance of Way (MoW) rolling stock. Namely, a drop deck flatcar engineered to carry massive electrical transformers. KEE won the bid by offering the most technically advanced and efficient solution at a fair price.
