Casing Twister
Designed to engage with T-slots at the top of casing pipes, these twisters allow drilling rigs such as the Liebherr LB36-410 or Bauer BG55 to apply push or pull load and torque to place casing pipes. With a variety of styles available, include dual casing sizes possible with one twister, KEE has designed twisters within the following capacity ranges, with any specifications possible upon request. Max torque: 408,000 FT-LBs, Max push/pull force: 377,000 LBs. Additionally, casings from 36 IN to 2.5 M have been utilized to date.
Toggle Shafts
When demoing bridge decks, contractors often want a way to remove neat saw-cut sections of roadway in one piece to minimize debris and labor onsite. The toggle shafts, requiring only a drilled hole per shaft, may then be used as lifting points to pick up a section of roadway and remove it. Due to the spring-loaded nature of the engagement mechanism, the shafts may then be easily disengaged from the slab and reused. Each toggle shaft is a fully load tested, BTH-rated device, typically with 5,000 LB of vertical lifting capacity. Each toggle shaft can be tailored to a specific job, but they are usually used in sets of 3 or 4 to lift 15,000 LB to 20,000 LB slabs of 7 IN to 12 IN thick concrete. Most require a 2 IN diameter hole to be drilled through the slab for use.
